01. Twin Peaks: The Return (Lynch)
02. Phantom Thread (Anderson)
03. The Florida Project (Baker)
04. Faces Places (Varda/JR)
05. Thelma (Trier)
06. Star Wars: The Last Jedi (Johnson)
07. Logan Lucky (Soderbergh)
08. Get Out (Peele)
09. Dunkirk (Nolan)
10. Wonder Wheel (Allen)

Please note: Upon reading David Lynch's biography Room to Dream, it is evident to me that Twin Peaks: The Return was envisioned and shot as a very long feature film and not as episodic television. As much as it pains me to give a 'season of TV' credit as a film, the winds are moving that way on this (if Cahiers du Cinéma is doing it...), therefore I have included it in my ranks in its proper place and will not be going back on this decision in the future.

1- Manchester by the Sea
2- La pazza gioia / Like Crazy, Paolo Virzi makes a female extraordinary commedia all'italiana
3- Three billboards outside Ebbing Missouri.
4- The Lost city of Z. Beautiful blond macho
5- Get Out
6- Call me by your name. Beautiful BUT too long (may be 10-20 minutes)
7- Toni Erdman (too long too)
8- Beach Rats. It's like Les 400 coups but with the hottest most good looking guy in the last years.
9- La La Land
10- Land of Mine, or how a STR8 movie can be considered my hottest fantasy, in my mind, a lot of young blond and redhead teens locked in a cabin on a beach all the nights. Even there's a humiliation - water sport included- scene with brutal Danish and British soldiers.

Horror of the year: L'amant double, Ozon on his worst Brian de Palma way.
