MoC Facebook & Twitter

#1 Post by peerpee » Sat Apr 11, 2009 11:28 pm

We're having a bit of a marketing push, we're up on Twitter and Facebook.

If you lovely folk could click the relevant things and spread the word, we'd be most grateful. We're going to be getting our act together with regular email newsletters, and finally that new MoC Catalogue.... hang in there!

This would be good.

It's always a delight to review MoC releases when they filter down via the site I write for but I always get the impression that I don't hear about hald the stuff you guys put out.

From Twitter: "acquired a 50 year old film debut at Cannes today. Very, very chuffed. Will try and get it out before Christmas."

The Epstein (and another acquistion) have run into a minor but prolonged problem that needs ironing out. Could take months. Thus, much delay :(

Good God, MoC know how to make me happy.

Here's hoping that the Epstein gets released this year too.

Does that mean there won't be any December releases? :(

I would have preferred it to read "the moon and Fanck"; but alas, there's probably little hope to get more films by the good Doctor Arnold? And no, I DON'T mean "Piz Palü".

Ah, but don't forget, it's the moon + Phantom, according to their ad in Sight and Sound.

Due in October along with the Lang box.

It must be undecided whether its appearin on blu or just dvd, or I imagine they would have specified. Thanks for the update though.

Blu seems slim, assuming MoC would probably port over the Carlotta as they did with A Time to Love A Time to Die chances are this will be DVD (as the possible port source is). In any case its another title to purchase, along with the Pialat's.

I just hope to see as many blus as MoC can produce; Sunrise just too blew me away.

The HD backup master was destroyed in the Universal fire. A new one needs to be made, but it's bottom of their agenda. Our release will be DVD only, unfortunately. But it will contain DAYS WITH SIRK.

Carlotta released There's Always Tomorrow together with All I Desire, Interlude and The Tarnished Angels. Wouldn't be surprised if we see those further down the road from MoC.

Five releases for one month, if it stays at that, must be a record for Nick & co. Perhaps Eureka recruited extra staff to help MoC expand?

Hope you guys are getting on ok with securing the Epstein.

Wasn't it said once upon a time there would be a Flaherty boxset?

The two Pialat are now March.

The Flaherty box set turned into our Eisenstein Silents box set (if you know what I mean).

So this means you're releasing the Eisenstein Silents instead of Flaherty?
