Eureka on twitter is promoting a Best Media Group sale on Amazon. Seems they are trying to get rid of some of their DVD-only stock for $3 a film.

£3 for More Than Honey is well worth it, and a few of those DVDs are probably worth picking up for family and friends. I actually thought Tartuffe was OOP (I won't get it myself though as I plan on getting the Murnau set at some point anyway).

You needn't have worried. It's a bit underwhelming. Might be something there for overseas visitors because of free shipping.

I think the two best deals (at least for me) are The Quiet Man and Fixed Bayonets!. I don't think both MoC editions have ever been this cheap before, and I do give them the edge over their U.S. counterparts. (At the very least, you have better encoding with a higher bitrate.)

I finally bit on Paths of Glory, I also want Conversation Piece but since I own the French disc double dipping is a tough sell!

Man from Laramie is actually cheaper direct from Amazon at the moment (under £10 after VAT removal).

The Keaton set hasn't shipped yet, and it's still the same reduced price as before. I was able to cancel my pre-order and add the Lubitsch, which saved me about three quid in shipping.

The Quiet Man is a great one to pick up (that's the lowest it's ever been). Got The Friends of Eddie Coyle, which has some really good extras not found on Criterion's edition, and I believe they use the same transfer too.

I bought it from them for £1.00 less during their last sale, in August.

Oh you haven't spent all your spare change on the Indicator sale? Don't worry, MOC can help.

Finally bagged me a copy of Shoah. Decent price on that one (don't think it has been that low before from Eureka themselves).

After waiting for a drop in the SHOAH price, I finally pulled the trigger and was informed that it cannot be shipped to the US. I hope this isn't going to be the case for other Eureka and UK releases.

I did manage to find a new copy on eBay at not *too* outrageously higher a price.

Just my 2 cents, I’m sure many have heard of it but Zavvi is where I get a lot of my MoC releases and they ship to the US for a very low rate. I already own the region A Criterion version of Shoah but I actually just ordered the MoC version from them a few days ago for the extra films and 300+ page booklet for just over 40 bucks plus shipping. Everything I have got from them has always been received in great condition as well. This might all be well known information but I just thought I’d share in case it’s wasn’t.

I think they are only shipping to UK and maybe Europe. Sadly I don't live in that area. I was about to buy Paths and WCP... Too bad
