Eureka/MoC are having Black Friday sales on both their own web store and Amazon. Web store looks better on the whole this time around.

Agreed. Was a little underwhelmed by the Amazon deals (I do have 100+ MoC BDs and 30+ MoC DVDs though...so choice is tight anyway). Luckily the main title I was after - Ro.Go.Pa.G - was only £6.99 on their own store...and I got Le Grand Jeu as well for a fiver. Not bad! Might dip in for a Pialat before the sale finishes (I have half of them so far).

Won't go overboard though, with Shane and The Quiet Man arriving soon (as much as I'd love to get a copy of Wooden Crosses).

Shoah is a great deal at 30GBP, I doubt we will see it cheaper anytime soon.

I ordered Diary of a Lost Girl. It's too good of a deal to pass up.

Does Eureka still have its own special online MOC sales?

Seems like they do them all through "bestmediagroup" on Amazon. Don't remember the last time you could buy at a discount on the site.

They had some choice discounts on their webstore both at the end of October and for Black Friday (see above).

Just out of curiosity, did anyone else have problems receiving orders from Eureka during their Black Friday sales?

I placed two orders via their website - the second order was placed an hour after the first when I decided to get one additional BD title.

The first showed up within one or two weeks, but the second (which according to an email was mailed soon after) never did and I finally contacted them after New Year's. Since it was one very cheap disc, it wasn't much of a hassle to get a replacement send (no refund) and that came in a week.

I placed one order with them during the Black Friday sale and received it in a timely manner.

Yes, my order from the Black Friday deals hasn't arrived, either. I'll need to contact them.

Yeah, I placed two separate orders from the Black Friday sale. The first one still hadn't shown up after 3-4 weeks, so I contacted Kevin, and he sent out a replacement no questions asked. I received that one in under a week, but the missing order never did turn up. It's safe to say at this point that it's lost, which has surprisingly only happened maybe 2-3 times in all the years and hundreds of packages I've received from overseas. With Deep Red and the Rivette set both in transit, though, perhaps I shouldn't gloat. *knocks wood*

I've never had a problem with MoC until this year either - I was wondering if maybe something was up on their end? With so many lost packages, did they really ship those items out?

I actually had a problem a few months ago that had to do with the way their WordPay system works.

When you complete a transaction, the last screen you are brought to essentially says "success, we have billed your card" and here is your order.

Except at the bottom of that page, there's another button you need to hit that says "complete transaction." In other words, your card is first billed, and then you still need to hit "complete transaction." This happened to me a few months ago, and while I had been billed, the order was never moved to complete.

It's a simple thing to miss, check out for it next time you order from them.

That's why I never close the page before I'm back to the seller main page.

I placed one order of two blu-rays during the black friday sale and it took a day shy of a month to receive it - but I got it, which isn't always a given for me with MoC. For some reason, I have always had the worst time in the world getting my stuff from them. I've had to have them resend orders many times over the years, it seems like practically every other order I place from them gets lost in the mail. I never have this issue at all w/Arrow or any of the foreign Amazons. It has certainly made me hesitant to order directly from them in the future. To their credit the customer service is immensely helpful and I've always wound up getting what I've ordered at some point sooner or later. But it has proved quite a process for me when ordering directly from them.

Can all of the 'where's my MOC' talk be moved to the Where's my MOC thread?

I keep clicking here every time there's a new post, thinking it's going to be about a good price found on an MOC title.

Until 9am next Friday. There's also a concurrent bestmediagroup sale on Amazon with some different titles.

Thanks for the tip about bestmediagroup. I'm getting Two for the Road (£7.99), The Offence (£7.99) and Satyricon (£6.99). I noticed they also had Life of Riley for £6.99 (I paid £7.99 last November) and Medium Cool for £7.99 (I've finally decided to stick with my Criterion BD). From the main Eureka sale list, I'll be getting the 6 titles I don't already have. And I haven't yet looked at the Arrow Films flash sale list....

Anyone have trouble paying through the World Pay site? I tried placing an order last night and I couldn't complete the order because the site timed out and then had the same problem this morning.
